Privacy Policy

Last updated: March 27, 2026

At Bootlab, trust is at the heart of our relationship with clients and visitors. This policy explains in a transparent way how we handle your personal data, in compliance with Senegalese Law No. 2008-12 of January 25, 2008 on personal data protection and, where applicable, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Article 1: Who is responsible for your data?

Data collected through bootlab.dev is under the responsibility of:

Bootlab — Web, mobile & AI development studio

75C Cité Keur Gorgui, Dakar, Senegal

Contact: contact@bootlab.dev

Article 2: What data do we collect?

We collect very little data. Here is what we gather and in what context:

  • Through the contact form: your name and email address, required to get back to you.
  • Automatically during browsing: IP address and technical information (browser, operating system), collected by our hosting provider Cloudflare for security purposes.

We do not collect any data beyond what is strictly necessary for the website to function and to process your requests.

Article 3: Why do we process this data?

Your data is used solely for the following purposes:

  • Responding to project inquiries: when you reach out through the contact form, we use your details to follow up and discuss your needs.
  • Protecting the website: technical connection data helps detect and prevent intrusion attempts or abuse.

Article 4: Who has access to your data?

Only the Bootlab team accesses your data, strictly within the scope of the purposes described above. We never sell, rent, or share your personal information.

Our website and emails go through Cloudflare, our infrastructure partner, which acts as a technical subprocessor and applies high security standards.

No advertising tracking tools or third-party marketing services are integrated into our website.

Article 5: How long do we keep your data?

We only keep your data for as long as needed:

  • Contact form data: 3 years maximum from our last exchange.

After this period, your data is permanently deleted.

Article 6: Cookies

Bootlab.dev uses no advertising cookies, no audience analytics tools, and no tracking pixels. We have neither Google Analytics nor any equivalent. Only essential technical cookies may be set by Cloudflare for site operation.

Article 7: Your rights

You remain in control of your data. The law grants you the following rights:

  • Access the data we hold about you
  • Correct inaccurate information
  • Request deletion of your data
  • Object to a processing activity
  • Request restriction of processing
  • Retrieve your data in a portable format

For any request, email us at contact@bootlab.dev with proof of your identity. We commit to responding within 30 days.

If you believe your rights are not being upheld after contacting us, you may file a complaint with the Commission des Données Personnelles (CDP) of Senegal.

Article 8: Security

Security is part of our DNA as developers. We protect your data with concrete measures: encrypted connections (HTTPS), restricted access, and infrastructure hosted on Cloudflare with built-in DDoS protection.

This commitment extends beyond our own website: every application designed and delivered by Bootlab integrates security best practices from the ground up — encryption of sensitive data, strict access management, adherence to OWASP guidelines — along with personal data protection by design.

Article 9: Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated to reflect changes in our practices or in regulations. In the event of a significant change, we will notify users through a visible notice on the website.
